NOWCAP Services is a nonprofit organization serving Casper and Rock Springs, Wyoming, dedicated to supporting people with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and others who need assistance to live as independently and fully as possible. Serving individuals age 17 and older, NOWCAP focuses on helping people build skills, connections, and meaningful lives within their communities.
NOWCAP provides home and community-based services through Wyoming Medicaid waivers, offering individualized support in private homes, supported living settings, group homes, and community environments. Services are person-centered and designed around each individual’s goals, strengths, and preferences.
Supports include assistance with daily living, skill development, health and safety, transportation, employment readiness, and community participation. NOWCAP follows an Employment First philosophy, helping people explore and maintain meaningful work whenever possible.
The organization also operates residential and day services, supportive housing programs, and HUD-funded housing options to increase stability and access for people with disabilities and older adults.
At its core, NOWCAP Services is guided by values of choice, dignity, inclusion, and respect, working in partnership with individuals, families, and communities to help people not just receive services—but belong, contribute, and thrive.
